Murano Glass Jewellery
The words 'nice' and 'Christmas earrings' in the same sentence was something I had thought to be incongruous.
However, I was asked if I could make some nice Christmas earrings so I spent time pondering the idea and knowing that I was heading to Italy, I decided that Murano glass beads could be incorporated into nice Christmas earrings.
The necklaces and earrings that follow are a mixture of jewellery pieces for Christmas and everyday wear.

Selecting Murano glass beads
There is a shop on Murano Island that specialises in glass beads. I was lucky to find the shop and I spent some time sifting through boxes of beads to find what I liked, and in the hope my customers would like them too.
All of the glass beads I selected are handmade, so no two are the same.
Afterwards I needed a pick me up with some excellent Italian coffee!
